bout time i posted

I've been on an unintentional hiatus.. I've been too stressed/busy/lazy/unmotivated to write anything, but here's a little something to keep the cobwebs away:

Cosign

Everyone’s in search of a co-signer
Eyes well up like you’re applying eye liner
If they don’t see what you want them too
How dare anyone challenge or disagree with you
We all try to deny it
Because nobody wants to sound needy
But it’s hard for me to accept that no one wants to be me
Look up to me
Respect me
Actually collect themselves when they address me
Truth be told, I blindly co-sign them
“Them” as in anyone willing to comment
On me, my life, what’s going on in my world
Who takes the time to see what’s behind the face of this girl
And yet still, I press on
Hoping that someday, somebody will catch on
And just nod their head, saying “Stassi, you ain’t lyin!”
Pathetic. Why even bother trying?
